Storm developed a small white bump on her left paw in the summer/fall of 2019. She also started itching more than she used to. Storm was diagnosed with a Mast Cell Tumor in November of 2019. The tumor was removed a week later.
The location of the tumor made it difficult to remove all of the cancer cells. The tumor returned in December of 2019. After many visits with her vet and an oncologist, the difficult decision was made to amputate her left leg. This blog is to document her recovery and adjustment to life as a tripawd.
